Nigel’s love of flowers has grown since school and with his interest in art has culminated in a passion for floral art.
A qualified florist, Nigel studied at Rodbaston College in Staffordshire.
Was encouraged by the late Josephine Howells, who ran a successful business in Shrewsbury for many years.
A member of the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS) and passed his Area Demonstrators test in 2000 and qualified to pre-national standard in 2011
Awarded a Silver Grenfell Medal at the RHS Chelsea Flower show in May 2011 for the design entitled “Garden Style” Pictured on the right
A member of the team representing Mercia and North Wales Area of NAFAS who arranged flowers in Westminster Abbey to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of NAFAS.

Shrewsbury Flower Club Staged a “Festival of Golden Pedestals” in the Abbey Church, Shrewsbury from 8th to 14th October when members decorated the building in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Mercia and North Wales Area of NAFAS and to support the Abbey’s organ restoration apppeal and £2,800 was rasied. Has arranged flowers at Festivals throughout the county and surrounding areas.
Created flowers for many brides throughout the county and beyond on their special day
Has supported many local churches and charities by hosting floral demonstrations to raise funds.
